Review: Moonshot Face Perfection Liquid & Microfit Cushion

Moonshot cosmetic is one of the most stylish beauty brand that I ever see in Korea. Seriously, their store in Seoul are stylish, and fame!

Moonshot, the first YG beauty brand. They are tending be creating an atmosphere of

" Extraordinary in the ordinary"

YG full of strong image, artistic, stylish, characteristic and etc celebrities. It is company's icon. 

Same goes to their cosmetic line. Their design is plain, either black or white. Not the colorful or complex design style. But the quality of the cosmetic, you will be shock. I went to their Garosu-Gil Moonshot store, full of professional makeup artist. It is like an eastern version of the MAC or NARS.

Moonshot sell at my local Sephora. It's not hard to grab. The price is a little bit expensive compare with Korea. But since it's 100% authentic if it sell at Sephora and you can grab it on the spot, so I think it's quite a reasonable already.

Moonshot Face Perfection Liquid #201

This is my first Korea brand foundation ever. I seldom use the liquid foundation type because I doesn't like a thick makeup look on my face. And this old concept of mind stuck on my head before I actually try out this foundation!

I love the foundation coverage and it's totally light growing on my face! Even though it's more on matte, but it still make my face shine, not cakey and heavy.

Coverage: High

Finished: Matte finished

Smell: It smell like newspaper... But it's only for 2 to 3 mins, then it's gone.

Thought: This foundation doesn't break my face out as long as you do the double cleansing. It is long-lasting. It basically doesn't fade out unless you scratch your face. :) I don't know if it's suitable for dry skin, but it fit well on my combination skin type. I don't feel dry or oily. I think it's a great combo with Microfit cushion, result me a flawless skin!

Price: The price range is a little high. Around RM150 per bottle (If not mistake). However, 1 bottle can use for a long time though. 

Rate: 8/10. Good foundation. Recommend for whoever looking for Korean brand foundation.

This cushion is a Matte finish cushion. Foundation coverage is medium to high. If you love matte feeling, this is the good cushion you can go with.

This cushion doesn't make me feel oily after a day. It can be last about like 6 to 8 hours.

I personally really satisfied with the cushion foundation formula.

Coverage: Medium to High (Just a 1 to 2 taps on the face you can see the differences already)

Finished: Matte finished

Smell: It's same smell like the moonshot liquid foundation. Which I doesn't really like the smell eventually. 

Pros:

• Oil control is good for my face. I'm Combo skin type.  
• Coverage is just good. I love the coverage. It's feel like i putting on Foundation but actually only cushion.
• Long lasting.
• After a long hours, my face looks growing but not oily. 

Cons:

• The plastic design. I really doesn't like cushion come with plastic casing honestly. And it is black color. It gets your finger print and scratches all over the casing. Which i really dislike and I have to clean it over and over again so it look nice and clean.
• I think the foundation will be a little bit dry for Dry Skin Type. Because its work just fine, not dry and oily on my Combo skin type. So for whoever dry skin, please done proper skin care steps and primer to moisture your face first before apply the cushion.

Rate: 8.5/10. It's easily carry and high coverage. Do I have to say more? xD

Moonshot Moonflash Cushion

Honestly I didn't try much on the moonflash cushion. I know it's a dewy effect cushion. Since microfit cushion is more on matte finish, so if you want to have high coverage and the same time you want to have dewy effect. Use microfit cushion first, after that use the moonflash cushion as highlight on some area on your face.

Both cushion's puff is the same design. Black surface and purple puff. 

Cushion case material is the same, it just the color different. (I wish they using the better material for cushion casing)
